Sophie Cooch (she/her) is a certified Intimacy Coordinator based in the UK. ​As an Intimacy Coordinator, Sophie has worked on productions for Netflix, Disney+, Paramount, Apple TV, Lionsgate, Channel 4, BBC, and ITV.​

Sophie is certified with SAG-AFTRA accredited Intimacy Directors & Coordinators (IDC) in New York, where she had the privilege of training under pioneering Intimacy Coordinators Alicia Rodis, Claire Warden, and Marcus Watson.

Sophie brings a unique blend of skills and experience as an Intimacy Coordinator. Her background and training as a professional actor, theatre maker, and movement performer, including training in dance and physical theatre, enables her to effectively support all aspects of intimate storytelling. Sophie collaborates respectfully with cast and crew alike and is committed to fostering a safe and empowering environment for everyone involved. 

As a head of department with a focus on communication and efficiency, Sophie is adept at managing the logistics and coordination of intimate scenes. She supports Producers and liaises with multiple departments to ensure these scenes are delivered safely and ethically, prioritising actor advocacy while achieving the Director’s and Showrunner's creative vision.
